HEAL AFRICA: Women's Health Clinic

LFA is working closely with Dr. Lusi of HEAL Africa and Souls In Stride, a grass-roots organization committed to raising awareness of the plight of women in the DRC. Since its inception in May 2004, Souls in Stride has raised over $75,000 for HEAL Africa, a clinical treatment and learning centre in Goma, DRC, where women requiring reconstructive fistula surgery, rehabilitation and counseling after rape can go for treatment.

The Lundin for Africa Foundation is a Canadian registered charity and has a more limited mandate than Lundin for Africa Society. The Lundin for Africa Foundation only grants to other Canadian registered charities (or "qualified donees" as that term as defined in the Income Tax Act (Canada) )
